Search Engine Optimization

My big mission at the minute is Search Engine Optimization, or SEO for short.

The idea is to get my Juggling Inferno Creative Performers website to the top of the google search results for a number of keyword phrases (kwp's).
The main kwp's I am optimizing for is fire performers and wedding entertainers. If you put these results into google.co.uk I am number two for fire performers and number ten for wedding entertainers. The hope is if I can get enough links then I will more up google, but getting links is not easy!!!!!!!!
Still if it was easy everyone would be doing it lol.

Marketing and admin

Whilst I really love my job as a professional fire juggler unfortunately I spend as much time on marketing and admin to do with my business as I do performing. I run a group of professional fire performers and wedding entertainers so as well as large amounts of training and rehearsals, I also have to manage the more boring side of the business. Still you have got to take the rough with the smooth and all that!

Fire shows in Bridlington

Fire eaters blog continued

Today I am driving over the Bridling ton to perform my solo fire show at a local music festival.

My show will be performed on the beach and the sun is shining so it should be a great show.

I have invested some new technology, firstly a wireless mic which should make my "patter" a lot easier to hear and means I can talk over the music that I'm playing.

The second piece of kit is a remote control for my ipod, this is like having my own personal sound man but a lot cheaper!

Hopefully these new gadgets, will make already great fire show even more amazing and exciting to watch.

I'm also doing my pyrotechnic finale which is great fun to do and never fails to make the crowd go nuts (checkout the photo).
Tomorrow I will post on how my fire show goes lets hope they like my amazing fire juggling skills and my cheeky northern patter.

Fire eaters blog part1

A fire eaters life is varied and mostly interesting but some parts of it are not so exciting. I love being a fire performer and travelling around the UK performing in solo and group fire shows. This part of the job is amazing, I even enjoy handling clients, making sure everything is safe and setting up before a show.
What I don't enjoy is motorway traffic, admin and rude hecklers. Some hecklers can be funny but most of them are just trying to look big and clever.
Still I shouldn't complain, I am obsessed with juggling and fire performances and I'm very lucky to be able to make a living out of my performance skills. Fire eating is actually a small part of what I do. Most of my solo show or the groups shows I perform, comprimise more fire juggling and fire spinning than fire eating. "Fire eaters" is definitely the most common word phrase used to describe fire performers and often at least partially incorrect.
